Disclaimer: This has nothing to do with the film of the same name (starring Amelie Tautou, who's slated to star in the movie version of Da Vinci Code); its just merely a metaphoric description of this entry.
Friday: Wat did i do on friday? Dear went to Clementi Polyclinic cos she had had aches around the kidney area (i think); turns out that she had a urinal infection... had to go back for another appt next friday; went for Morpho tutorial and then went to have lunch with Dear. After that, I made my way to Quest...
First time that I took the whole band with Mdm W. Moral of the story is that, different methods of teaching are needed for different learning types of students... dabbled a little in playing the tubular chimes; sort of played so loud that everyone went "wah!!!...." Well not that they are sort of players, but the appointed player was a newcomer i think... hope he can motivate himself enuff to make it forApril...
Met up with Dear in the evening @ West Mall; had KFC and then went strolling around...
Sat: Woke up late!!!! Met up with Dear to go Clementi; she had to buy a black polo tee for her River Raft Performance tml, and I bought a maroon polo tee as well. I also went to buy my Principles of Marketing Text, which is long overdue. way long. 3 weeks behind schedule. After that, we went to Central Lib to study for like 2 hours, then went back to Dear's place to drive her parents to Orchard for a wedding dinner... so paiseh and kan chiong, driving dear's dad's car for the first time... still not familiar with how an Auto Trans car works, at least a Nissan Sunny... After we reached Orchard, DEar and myself went to le Meridien foodcourt to have dinner; stingray, black pepper beef and hor fun... after that, we went to PS to digest digest... guess we ordered too much for 2 ppl... walked ard and went to Times; Dear got her theory books, while i was fixated to this Transformers pictorial-cum-fact book that explains all abt the cartoon from Generation 1 to the current new TRansformers; if it cost only half of the $44 retail price, i would have gladly paid for it immediately... and calling all ROOSTERs!!! You can get a free one year membership when you buy from Times form now till end of Feb... we finally settled down in STarbucks where i had a latte... After that I sent everyone plus Dear's neighbours back home, and then took bus home...
Something that i came across while surfing Xiaxue, that she had some sort of a conflict with Fiona (Xie); turns out that she found Fiona's blog and critiqued her blog, which raised hte ire of Fiona's fans... as a result, Fiona's blog has been shut down; still can be viewed, though i guess there wont be any new entries le... And I have found some other blogs, notably Mr. Brown and Miyagi...
And Le Meridien has some interesting places; the Genki outlet had a queue of at least 5 ppl throughout the evening; there was nice zhi char at the food court, and korean food too (judging by the queue); variety at the foodcourt was very good... there are some nice watering holes too, that I found an outdoor pub serving Hoegarden for housepour, another one beside it serving Chang (YES! Thai beer! hehe)... well That's a good place to hangout after a good meal at the foodcourt...
There's project meeting tml (yes, on a Sunday morning) in school, followed by a 'field trip' to Holland V......
Signing off....... Great day; now i hope i can catch up with my readings tml........
