Made it on time for MDS lecture; today's presentation was about the Tolsen reading, which ZW had commented was cheem... well Butler is some serious contender for cheem-ness!!!! Anyway, I was so tired that i fell asleep a few times; think ML saw me doxing and called for timeout haha... anyway there were more and more clips, including one by Barb Walters interviewing George and Laura (Bush) and another comical one featuring Ali G. Today's paper was essentially on chat shows and the changes of roles of addressor and addressee, and interviewer and interviewee in this genre of mediated communication over the last 20-30 years; as well as impact on the audience.
AFter lesson, I went to write my card for Dear =) Saw Galvin while he was on his way home; he attempted to search for restaurants (using my laptop) and tried to get bookings. Well hope he had a nice evening out with his gal... went to ENgine to look for my project mates, and after huffing and puffing my way up the 3rd floor of E2, the largest comp cluster in NUS (i believe) befell on me... spent half an hour there, edited some PPT slides (ok, just one...), passed the new laser pointer that i just bought to Soniya and left for Quest... Quest today was a bit frustrating cos I dunno how to correct the clarinet problem; was it me or the players? I'm not sure... anyway they were done filming the video, so its full steam ahead for SYF presentation...
Went to JP to meet Dear; took a queue number for Crystal Jace, cos the V-Day queue is ridiculously long; i took no 119 and the number at that time was 49. We went to JL to get my greyish black long sleeve shirt as well as some undies; someone has been stealing my undies!!! ARGH!!!! they are missing, esp the expensive & fav ones!!!! ARGH!!!! then went to walk ard, and saw Cindy auntie and Glenn uncle :P queueing up at Billy Bombers; later learnt that they gave up and went D'Caffeo instead... we went in Crystal Jade at ard 8+... ordered the cheapest combination that I have ever come across!!! costs $20!!! ahah... the lowest takings for them for the day i think hehe.... We ate:
