Disclaimer: Some say it was good, others commented it was a "disaster;" well thanks for feedback & everything nonetheless...
The Day began when I got home to get ready for the concert... had KFC with Dear before reaching home... then had something else as well... met Nick at NTUC @ Clementi to buy mineral water; then took cab to school for rehearsal/soundcheck.... Soundcheck was pretty bad, I guess everyone was reserving for the actual thingy... went to get dinner with Nick and Siwei... and it started from there...
Changed and gotten ready for for the concert; thank goodness I had a heavy lunch, for I didnt factored in the MCs for dinner and hence it was just right... Had Nick's nice chocs for dinner... then went out to foyer to settle the tickets with the schools ppl... Tuned and we are ready!
Tempered Steel was abt the best that we played. Gotten feedback that me was too loud for first half... Went around to collect $$$ and say hi during intermission... THANKS DEAR FOR THE CHOCS!!! =) Gonna eat them during our study sessions le! =D Gotten some flowers from Jenn and RAch too! Thanks! and Chocs from Nick and Jon! Thanks! And cards from Nick, RAchel and Shu Ping!! Thanks too!!! =) Thanks to ppl from BP, Quest, TW, huimin da jie and Zhenyang, FAdzli and Sharizan, the NUSWS Alumni ppl, NG Hoe, my Sis and her BF (though i paid for their tix haha); thank you all for coming!
Second half was not too bad, though I screwed up for Mononoke and didnt really focus on the beginning of Armenian... Anyway, this is probably the first time i played to such a big crowd!!! Thanks everyone for making this happen!!! =) Really had a terrific time!!!!
Marimba gave way during the moving back of instruments cos the screw that supported the frame below the keys went missing... ARGH. Then Dear got harrassed by some extremely unwelcomed and rude ppl... Those ppl shall be condemned for picking on Dear... shall curse them every morning i wake up... PUI!
Today, Quest prac was okok... everyone getting more serious le... cool... still have to figure out how to do a good crash on the crash cymbals....
