Cycling, Old Friends, Fair

Just came back from dinner @ Dear's house. Her mom prepared a big dinner and I'm still feeling the fullness in me. Prior to that, we were at East Coast Park to cycle amongst the weekend crowd... Dear mastered cycling in her second attempt; think we covered 3-4km from the Mac area to the Food centre and back. Earlier on in the afternoon, I fetched Dear from work for the free concert by SWS @ the Esplanade; there were Mononoke, Star Wars, Beauty and the Beast, Kingdom Hearts, pieces which entertained the crowd present. Throughout the day, my tooth was aching, and it still is now. Hope that it stops giving me pain soon...

Met up with the old clique; turned out to be an outing of 7 guys and a (married) gal; save for Pamela, the rest of the gals had something on, mostly due to work. We had dinner at Sakae, followed by dessert at Mac. nice time catching up with what everyone else is doing; Qiuteng is starting on being the boss of his own coffeeshop, Wenqiang just snagged a $2.5k-a-month job with CPF as IT consultant; Pamela's gonna leave her job at the end of the month... The next meet-up will most probably on 16th July for the BPGHS anniversary dinner...

Caught the repeat telecast of the Superstar show onTV yesterday evening. Whoever created us is/are generally fair; those who had physical impairments, but nonetheless had the courage to sign up for the audition, had enuff singing talent to outshine a lot of other ppl who attempted to BSB (beg, steal, borrow) their way into the next round. Indeed, not all are born equal.
