Dear Readers,
I'll be embarking on my Indonesia trip a few hours from now (despite the situation in Timor Leste).
This blog will therefore be in hiatus - I've entrusted the keys to someone-s in case anything happens...
Thanks for your support； EL Hons peeps, QZ, Jenn, NUSWS peeps, Weilin + everyone else that cared to read - it was good while it lasted.
If nothing goes wrong, I shall be back here again either in Bali (if there's good + cheap Internet) or just before Fathers' Day - if nothing goes terribly wrong.

As usual, woke up around lunchtime - packed stuff, sent photos, and then rushed to school....
And then decided against borrowing books - might just bring Kroeger plus Foucault's Pendulum and re-read....
Stopped by Co-Op to buy some medication stuff for the trip - Thanks to LAPD for the checklist =)
Met up with Naga and Galvin + QZ & Jeremy (philo) for dinner at Lau Pa Sat, and found out that the rest of them were already Uncles, except Yours Truly (QZ having just become one the second time round); after that, we went to this place at Amoy Street called Cosmos Café....
It was a full house - apparently the place's closing its doors permanently on Sat, and there was a lineup of bands and DJs playing and singing indie music.....
After hours of booze and people watching by the guys - I was practically zoned out - QZ, Galvin and me left first......

Can anyone ever do everything for himself/herself?
A.k.a what Wolverine told Rouge before she left the School for the Gifted?
Self before Others vs. Others before Self - a Western vs. Oriental style of thinking, or something more fundamental; or more than it meets the eye?
Accept or not?

The trip, actually, is quite daunting........
Knowing how "popular" I am with mozzies.......
And how careful I have to be with $$$$$..........
And of course, living without MSN and Internet for at least a week.......
Will there be a significant difference in the upcoming 3 weeks?
