Heard about Yanzi's performance at the recent Awards ceremony, and I was like "Huh? Anything Singaporean confirm must criticise?"
And then I saw it on youtube...
It seem that she could possibly be at fault (lack of rehearsals? limited voice range? trying to do too much?); but then, trying to sing songs tailor-made for the other sex is never going to be easy - I can testify haha...
Hopefully she gets much more success in her Taipei concert...

Had dinner on Friday evening with Jenn @ PS - caught a glimpse of the promotional concert for this Global Chinese Music thingy. Tank was singing this song 独唱情歌 by himself haha, but it was ok lah - Selina (she's the other singer of this song - it's supposed to be a duet) wasn't around to sing it with him mah...
Went to Naga's place to catch the morning's matches - I figured I would just have missed the night matches, and I was right. QZ and Galvin were there as well, and we indulged in a game of Scrabble (Galvin won!), before going out to get supper from Macs. Bumped into Giam and this other guy from Jazz Band at the Mac. Came back for France-Togo - everywhere else was showing Swiss-Korea. France and the Swiss won, and they went through, leaving Korea unable to repeat their fairy-tale showing 4 years ago.
We fell asleep after that, and woke up again at around 615am to leave for home...

Did nothing significant on Sat, except drinking lots of hot water to curb the cough/sore throat (moderate success) - hope to go down to catch the Lounge Lizards tomorrow evening at Cineleisure though, even if the outing doesn't materialise, in which case, I might just pop by VCh for the NYGH concert haha.
See how bah.
