Torch Singer

The last time I went Ubin, I wasn't alone. Today, everyone else except me wasn't alone. Hah, what irony.

But hey, screw irony. It was a wet and fun day out in Nature.

Cycling was tremendous gratifying - the upslopes took the wind out of me, but the downslopes sure provided plenty of wind to catch back.

One lesson whose importance cannot be emphasised any more is being properly attired, both inside and outside - ignore it, and be prepared to suffer anything from abrasions (like me) to oil/grease stains that cannot be gotten rid of easily.

-----------------

The comedian survives by making people laugh.

When s/he tries to get serious, and the attempt to get serious is interpreted as just another comedic act, is it worth a laugh?

Maybe a "Pistachio" can never be regarded as being serious.

-----------------

And maybe that's it.

C'est La Vie.

You can't eat your cake and have it.

Signing off.................. And then, all that remained, was Silence, bitter unconsolable Silence..............
