Dear's Birthday!

Woke up late!!!! Quickly got ready and went to collect cake @ JP... forgot to bring lighter, so have to buy again!!!! Took MRT to Dover, then met up with Dear, Auntie and their frens... hee lucky got enuff ppl wor, the cake was able to be finished haha... then after that we went town...

Arrived at Bugis Village and Dear got her bag! Another B-day wish fulfilled hehe! Then we just walked ard Bugis Junction, and settled on Seoul Garden for lunch-dinner haha... SG almost spoilt the day for us man.... the worst SG i have ever come across... the palce looks different from the other SGs, as in the decor feels weird, then nobody at the door to usher us in, so we walked in; was told that it was full and we have to leave our contact and wait for them to call us.... ok that was done, ans we went strolling ard... went back SG after 20 mins, and no one was at the counter again; walked in again and saw that the place had cleared; then we got a place, and this lady served us; looked so fierce, nvr smiled... maybe she had a bad day or wat, but i find her service a DIS-SERVICE for us.... luckily it was a self-service buffet thingy, or else every time kena served by her, the whole day would be ruined...

That aside, we had a reasonably good meal.... at the end we had 2 servings of Topless 5, SG-style haha... and we had to go to toilet after our meal hehe... decided to walk to VCH from Bugis to digest our lunch-dinner... dropped by Bras BAsah and went to check the palce for awhile; Ranking Mucis and Sports (which sells instruments hehe...) and Swee Lee (nvr went in)... then went to Raffles City to get some drinks... then went to sit outside Supreme Court; took some pics and watched half a game of hockey played outside the clubhouse... saw Adrian (Chiang) on our way to VCH... attended the pre-concert talk, then went in early for the concert...

The concert was money well-spent lah! :) The Oboe and Bassoon Concertos were so BAGUS!!!! And Symphony No. 39 was so nice! Esp Second movement! Pity there were no trombones for most part of the concert; pretty surprised that there are ppl whose handphones are ringing during SSO concerts.... anyway, was surprised again when Emily (clarinettist, MWO) sat next to me; how coincidental can the world get?

After the concert, two tired, weary but HAPPY souls went home... :)

Glad that today (3 months in making) went by nicely; some hiccups, but still very good! :)

Happy 17th Birthday Dear!!!! *MUACKZ*

Signing off...... working at M Hotel on Sunday......
