First thing: Today is Nick Yew Xiaoti's birthday!!! Happy 23rd birthday man!!! This GREAT man just organised the DnD (with Rachel), burnt the Intempo CDs for those who attended the DnD, and accompanied me to the Musical Delights concert... Thanks man!!! Hope your birthday wishes come true!!!
Woke up around noon today; met up with Jenn, Desmond, Aza and some of the Percussion Club members for lunch; long time since I last saw Aza... She's working at NUS Medicine Adminstration =) Good for her!!! Then I had to go JP to meet my mom and sis; then went back home, bathed again and rushed back to JP to get stuff... took cab to town and was just in time for SP Band's Musical Delights; saw Zong Geng there; saw Nick at the entrance and went in with him... The concert started soon after with Spartacus... was busy taking pictures, but dunno why they all seemed so blurred... maybe we weren't close enough to the stage... The band was BIG!!! One whole row of F Horns!!! WooHoo!!! Some parts were nice; Spartacus and Lupin III was not bad, and the Alto Sax soloist had a nice tone...
After concert, Nick had to rush off for a family dinner, so he left first... was quite stunned when Zhiwen's sister said "hi" to me; haha contact lens do wonders to a person's looks... I shall retract my decision and try contact lenses someday hehe... some special occasion =)
Anyway, Dear and I walked over to Lau Pa Sat for makan; Had Satay from Stall 1 (NICE NICE!!!) and mee goreng from dunno-where (not nice....); then we took bus home... though the brownie was not consumed, at least the water was of use!!! =) And the flowers looked cool!!!! (cos i bought them mah!!! BWAHHAHAHA!!!)
Oh yah, I have been listening to the Intempo recording, and the recording was surprising decent... so i guess the money spent on hiring the recording person was well spent... =)
