Thanks for those who were concerned about my well-being for the past week or so... right now, I'm perfectly fine, and believe me, the closure was not to gather attention!!! I had my reasons back then, and the decision to resume blogging indicates that I believe its the right time to do so...
The weekend that just went by was sort of a crazy one; was in KL and back in 2 days, spending about 20 hours in KL, doing 3 things: shopping, eating and sleeping haha... the only other time that I had been there was some 12 years ago, and I don't think I can remember any trace of KL from that visit... nonetheless, thanks to ZX, as well as some helpful ppl whom we met in KL, we managed to just get by finding the various LRT stations as well as our hotel... On Saturday evening, we had some speed shopping at this Mid Valley Megamall: did half of our shopping in slightly under an hour, as the shops (thankfully) close at 10pm (and not 9 onwards, like back here in JP). We found some nice and good bargains; bought a shirt for myself, while dear bought more stuff. We found this Billabong-lookalike brand called Body Glove; bought a shirt for my bro from there as well... we were so hungry after that; the food outlets were starting to close as well, and we finally settled on Shakey's Pizza (ring a bell? yeah, it used to be available back here in SG; there was one outlet in BB, where you can now find KFC/Pizza Hut...); spent about S$15 on a meal... then went back to our hotel...
Its been a long time since I woke up so early on a sunday morning, but in order to fully maximise the time we had, we woke up before 8 to have our breakfast, check out, and proceed on back to Mid Valley... we came across a sale at the Royal Sporting House outlet, and the Adidas there, though looking a bit dated, were at a bargain... bought this shirt at 30% off for around S$25... lunch was at Secret Recipe, where cakes were selling at RMS$5.30 per slice... had such a full lunch there... after walking around for a while more, we made our way back to Puduraya, for our 5-hour journey back to Johore... stopped by City Square for some last minute shopping and dinner; after enduring the heat at Malaysian Customs, we finally made it back to Singapore at around 9+; its the first time that I have ventured so far in Malaysia without my family, and I think there willl be more trips in future!!! =)
Ok, time to enjoy my Wesak day!!!! Cycling lessons later for dear!
Signing off......... broke after KL trip; willing to accept any amt of donations...........
