Got ups and downs...

At least gotten the Marksman and the incentive... and see some familiar faces again... did some catching up... old ties rekindled... and lost some weight haha....

And then sometimes, old issues resurfaced again...

And, new issues came up; sandwiched between two sides, that's the life of ppl who's neither here nor there. Decisions are always difficult to make, even more so when you are in proximity of bothe sides. Whatever is done, the actions must take into consideration both those above and those below, the impacts that they have on others. Gone are the days when orders and commands are the calls of the day; they are replaced by pleas and requests. Rank and structure exist and do not yet exist at the same time. Yet in the first place, who needs rank and structure? who likes to be subjected to rules and regulations?

And so, the organisation itself is quite contradictory, especially after the first few years of mandatory service end. No doubt, the improvements made are to be lauded and appreciated, but sometimes... some areas remain the same after feedback and voicing out to higher authorities... change really takes time, and sometimes, much more time than we would like it to have...

Pray that the next one in July will be much better...
