Under the Sea

Yes! The tune just keeps getting stuck in my head haha... playing that song for the Commencement driveway performance on the morning of July 7th; doubt that there will be a lot of ppl who will catch the gig, cos the first day of Commencement is likely to be reserved for those Doctorate /Ph.D holders? I'm not too sure, but there are so many sessions throughout the one and a half to 2 weeks, and we are playing for the first session cos His Excellency, the President, will be there. One more practice left to the performance date loh!

Primary and Sec schools will officially start Term 3 next monday, and Shimin had been asking me for ages to go take a look at the kids at Queenstown Pri; made my way down this morning (I was late cos the cool weather was just to0 enticing hehe). Saw a few familiar faces, and Weishan (the trumpet ger who's in Quest Band now) was there too =) Saw the cute drum major gal during their drill session and I was reminded of the performance last year for the opening of the school premises... Took the lower brasses for music, and though there were only 5 of them, it was not an easy time cos they were not very familiar with the songs yet (I think). Before long, i had to bid a hurried farewell to the kids and Shimin; went to Dhoby Ghaut to meet Dear, but there was no Seoul Garden in PS (the sudden craving just came hehe), so we made our way to Taka. Was in there for maybe close to 2.5 hours and left the place feeling very full. We made our way to Heeren to take neo cards, and after that, we saw an accident just at the X-junction between Heeren and Meritus Mandarin involving a van (at the back, believed to be the main culprit - driver window gone, front right gone, front bumper hanging), a Hyundai Getz (lady driver, suay-est of the 3 - Rear left lights all gone, Rear left bump, Rear windscreen gone, front left dent) and a Honda Stream (Male driver with family, SFS carplate - Rear centre bottom dented in). The broken pieces of glasses were just there lying around, and thank goodness there was no injury. We were there observing for like 20 mins till the cars drove off, and then we went off.

Eddy Neo is back! =) One of my favourite blogs that i used to frequent hehe till he shut down his blog (I was guessing maybe it was due to some relationship problems, but he seems ok now; shan't speculate too much without facts). Got to know of his new "location" via Tomorrow; one of the good points of the website is that you get to read what other bloggers recommend. However, it's so often a double-edged sword, cos your personal space and privacy may be lost the moment you are Tomorrow-ed; bloggers flock to take a peek at what you have posted. Just ask SPG.

Signing off............ Almost half of 2005 is gone le............
