JB, JE and JP

On Saturday morning, I met up with Dear and her mom to go to City Square in JB for a walk; its probably the nearest shopping mall closest to mainland SG. Customs weren't as back as the last time we went to KL, though it was still quite a sweat. Had a nice lunch at one of the Chinese restaurants, then we went walking around the mall. Dear and her mum bought a pair of sandals, and Dear's attempt to get a set of formal wear for her presentation on Thursday didnt really succeed, though she looked kinda nice when she tried out several combinations. =) The trip was rather short, cos I guess the walk really got everyone tired quite fast, and after buying some buns from this Seasons bakery (some Bread Talk lookalike), we went back to SG. Went to Dear's house, and after dinner, we attenpted to watch Seed of Chucky; however the DVD refused to be read by either the DVD player or the DVD-ROM on the laptop. That's the worst thing that can happen to you when you are watching a movie; not to know of the ending!!!!

Sunday wasn't that lazy. Met up with Dear at JEC; had lunch at KFC (not exactly healthy, but for $$$$ reasons... should have shared one $3.95 meal instead....) then to This Fashion where Dear got her formal top to match one of the skirts that she already has. Next stop was JP, where I went go hunting for bottoms. The most sianz part is to find that you had to get larger sizes, cos you have outgrown your previous size (or is it that the sizes seem to be shrinking themselves, that L becomes M???). Finally got 2 pairs of shorts/berms from Giordano on discount, and before that, I gotten 2 Tees from 77th Street that were quite cool. Dinner was at Dear's place again, and she showed me the game Empire Earth II, which was quite cool I must say. Reminded me of Command and Conquer, the last game of similar type that I played, and Dune 2 (super old game).
