Recap No 2:
Saturday morning breakfast was with Dear at the newly openly Dim Sum outlet at BL Shopping Centre. After the sumptuous breakfast, we went to collect the race pack for the StanChart run the next day.
Bought one Adidas singlet which was on the cheap ($20), but missed out on the shorts cos they had ran out of sizes; in the end, I had to go to the Citylink Mall Adidas outlet to get the running shorts using the 20% discount that came with the participation in the run. We ended up at TCC for a late nite cuppa which left us both yawning and sleepy instead of perky and all... hah!
Met JB and his fren Jinlong @ City Hall at 645am; had met BY on the train prior to that... reached the starting pint 20-25 mins after flag-off time haha; managed an hour plus with the 10km... thus, one resolution: train harder and come back for more in 2006!!! =) And yes, the free top was nice, but the baggage sotrage point was chaotic, with bad tempers from the 10km runners who had waited one hour + to claim their bags after the run. I say: no hurry, no haste, all energy spent shalt gone to waste...
After the run, me and Dear went to PS for makan, then back to Suntec to get mroe Adidas stuff; went around Suntec, Carrefour, Ben and Jerry's for ice-cream, and then back to Clementi for dinner... had a extremely bad tummy ache, but managed to pull through... played Uno and Scrabble back at Dear's place... FUN!!!
